Give to the Trust
Your gift will support vibrant, life-changing theological education for the whole people of God. Regent's mission simply isn't possible without the support of donors from around the world. Every gift, of every size, makes a difference for God’s kingdom in the UK and beyond. Thank you!
If you’re a UK taxpayer, please consider Gift Aid. The Trust can usually reclaim tax paid on your gift from the UK Government. (It effectively adds 25p for each pound you give!) If you're a higher rate taxpayer, you may obtain tax relief for the payment in your self-assessment tax return.
Make a one off or regular gift via Give.net, a secure charitable giving platform. If you grant permission to claim Gift Aid, these funds will be passed to the Trust along with your gift. About the Trust
The story of the Friends of Regent College Canada Trust really begins with the birth of Regent College itself, when Founding Principal Dr. Jim Houston made the journey from Oxford, UK, to Vancouver, Canada, on a mission to make world-class theological education relevant and available to laypeople.
The relationship between Regent College and Christian communities in the UK has remained close throughout the College's five decades of existence, and continues today with students, faculty, guest speakers, and other friends making regular trips across the Atlantic.
The Friends of Regent College Canada Trust was established in 1998 for the following purposes:
- To facilitate the advancement of theological education and religion in the UK and beyond through the raising of funds for the use and growth of Regent College in Vancouver, BC.
- To advance the progress of theological education world-wide. This will be accomplished through the raising of funds to assist persons from the UK and Europe, Asia and Africa so that they might attend Regent College by the provision of Friends of Regent College Canada Trust scholarships, bursaries and other such assistance.
As Trustees, we strive to help UK alumni and friends to stay engaged in Regent's mission of cultivating intelligent, vigorous, and joyful commitment to Jesus Christ, His Church, and His world.
